takes you further.
A useful assessment must be open to examination: what was collected, how it was interpreted and which sources support the conclusion.
In development by CX Defense, VARDENT connects security news and RSS collection, article extraction, research and reporting. Search the collection and work with AI while keeping the original material available to examine in context.
AI summaries and extracted entities are starting points for investigation. The analyst checks interpretations against the sources and decides what the material supports. Retained files, file hashes and AI activity logs help make that research reviewable.

Your workspace
Local by design.
Clear about AI processing.
VARDENT keeps its database and evidence files on your machine. The choice of AI determines where analysis takes place.
A local model.
Use Ollama to run a model locally. This supports a workflow where AI processing stays on your machine, with performance shaped by your hardware and the model you select.
A cloud provider.
Choose a supported cloud model when it suits the task. Material included in a request is sent to that provider, whose terms and data handling apply. Local storage alone does not make a cloud-assisted workflow entirely local.
